Last night we had a sort of ‘going away’ street party with all the Thai neighbor kids… and the family next door.
This is the family whose kids have food names. When we first told our kids about returning to India, Asia immediately asked, “What about Popcorn, Sandwich, and Pizza?”
It’s been good to have local friends that we can hang out with. Our kids play together. We visit and chat over the fence. And as I told our neighbor last night, I hope we will someday have good friends just like them in India.
It’s less than 24 hours till we fly to India. We’ll definitely miss this place.
