Thai gov’t makes life simpler, less confusing

iTV protected by the kind eyes of Big Brother gov'tYes, that’s right. Simpler. Less confusing. Less time wasted switching between the many gov’t controlled stations and the single independent TV channel, iTV.

Not anymore. With a desire to fleece please the Thai people, the coup-installed government has made it clear they do not want to confuse the average person with distractions like diverse opinion and freedom of expression. On March 7th, the honorable government of Thailand will “temporarily close” iTV – the only independent TV station in the nation. Oh what a joy. Never again will the naive citizens if Thailand be led astray by the voices of democracy darkness.

And if September 25th was a defining moment in recent Thai history, which brought Thailand into equal standing with local bastions of freedom Burma and Laos, then March 7th will be the day Thailand joins international giants of truth and freedom such as Russia and the former Soviet republics.

Oh, how I love seeing the nation I live in progress. It can only get better from here.
