Today was the kids’ first day of school. We decided to send them to the same school that Asia went to back in kindergarten. This school is not exactly known for it’s quality curriculum or outstanding facilities. But since it’s inexpensive and has a class size of 10-15, we kinda like it.
The day after we prepaid the school fees we found out all the other families we know who had their kids there pulled them out. Hmmm. Is that a bad sign?
The only difficulty they had today is that Asia couldn’t really understand the teacher very well. She speaks too fast and has a thick Hinglish accent. I totally understand this – and so should YOU if you’ve ever chatted with an Indian telemarketer. Just imagine them being your 3rd grade teacher!
The good news is the kids love the school. Both of them made friends already and are even asking to ride the bus because their friends are on it. Groovy!
