Well, we’ve been on the road for some time now… 6 weeks if we count from our Christmas arrival in the States… 8 weeks if we count from the time we left Australia… or, if we count from the time we moved from India, it’d be something like 57 weeks.
The past month was spent working on details for our move to Thailand and in meetings with some of our great friends here in North Carolina. In January alone we traveled to 24 different homes (or coffee shops or restaurants) to visit and catch up with people we only see every 2 years when we’re here in the States. It’s been great fun! And it’s been awesome to see people and catch up on what God’s doing in their lives.
Meanwhile, Jen is homeschooling Asia as she starts her 2nd grade lessons. The plan is for Asia to start 2nd grade officially in Thailand, but we want to give her a head start while we’re here. And Eliyas is getting his first taste of school-type activity so he can be ready for Thai kindergarden which starts in May.
We’d love to catch up with you ALL while we still have the chance. February is our last full month of visiting and personal appointments, as Marhc will be filled with trips to Florida, Georgia and Virginia. So, if you feel like getting together, give us a call at (919) 360-3214 or send us a quick note so we can schedule a time to visit.
