We’re all down here in in Miami this week – enjoying the Cuban food, latino influence, and trying to find English radio stations to listen to while we sit in the gridlock traffic. Not having a lot of luck with the radio though.
This city is pretty cool. I don’t think my Grandparents like the idea of all the immigrants taking over (in fact, they hate it). But I think it’s awesome. Miami’s got a cool, multi-ethnic feel. Of course, considering our lifestyle, it’s probably normal that we would appreciate that sort of thing. Heck, where else can you drive the highway and all the billboards are in foreign languages? Ahhhh…. it makes me miss Asia. :-]
Only 10 more days until we head to Thailand. Woohoo!
