India celebrated it’s 60th year of independence from British rule this week. People went on holiday. Kids flew kites. And the newspapers were filled with sentimental articles, historical pieces, and even a competition for India’s “next big leader”. Geez. They’re really milking this one.
Anyways, I thought I’d link to a few images of India from CNN. They seem to make the country look so much more exotic than I can, so I’ll spare you the pain of my own photography (for now) and give you some of theirs.
