Before Jesus took off, he commanded us to take the message of the Good News to every ethnic group on the planet. It’s called the Great Commission. Too often we consider it nothing but a suggestion.
What about is it about taking action that is so hard?
Why is it so easy to just ignore Jesus?
People in hard to reach (or just plain hot, funky or scary) areas are waiting at the other end of our obedience. They live and die without ever hearing the good news about Jesus. Many have never met a Christian.
That ought to kickstart our priorities to line up to the heart of God.
Are we going to say, “Jesus, I’m willing to go anywhere, eat anything, sleep anywhere, do anything, so that every people group on earth has a chance to hear about you?”
As for me, I know Jesus is passionate about the poor and unreached people groups of the 10/40 Window. And so I will take action.
